Participants from the adult group of the SPORT+ project demonstrated strong determination and team spirit at the VII Volleyball Tournament “Rákóczi Cup” in western Ukraine.
Six teams from across the region — including Uzhhorod, Chop, Berehove, Velyka Dobron, Ferenc Rákóczi II University, and Batovo — competed in a series of closely contested matches, with the final rankings decided only in the last points of the tournament.
The SPORT+ team from Batovo achieved an excellent result, securing third place. The team from Chop finished second, while Uzhhorod claimed first place.
The tournament once again highlighted the importance of sports as a means of strengthening resilience, confidence, and community. The success of the Batovo team reflects the commitment and perseverance of the participants, as well as the positive impact of the SPORT+ initiative.
