We are pleased to welcome Dmytro Skopienkov as our Safeguarding & PSEAH Advisor at Science4People.
Dmytro brings over seven years of experience in safeguarding, compliance, and risk management, supporting humanitarian and civil society organizations in building accountable, safe, and ethical systems. He has worked with international organizations in Ukraine, providing coordinated safeguarding support to more than 25 local civil society organizations. His work includes programs funded by USAID/BHA, ECHO, DANIDA, and GFFO, focusing on practical reporting mechanisms, risk management processes, and systems aligned with international standards, while ensuring they are adapted to local contexts. He has also delivered Safeguarding & PSEAH trainings to over 1,000 participants, strengthening both awareness and the practical capacity of staff to implement safe and ethical practices in their daily work.
Reflecting on his new role, Dmytro shared: “The mission of S4P strongly resonates with me. I am glad to contribute my experience to help ensure that initiatives supporting people affected by war are implemented in a safe, transparent, and accountable way.”
In his role, Dmytro supports the development of safeguarding systems, strengthens organizational accountability, and contributes to ensuring that all programs are delivered in line with the highest ethical standards.
