Today marks the beginning of a new school year in Ukraine. For children across the country, returning to school once again takes place under the difficult realities of the ongoing war.
Despite uncertainty, disruption, and the many challenges children and families continue to face, the start of a new school year remains an important moment of hope, continuity, and new opportunities.
At Science4People, we are very happy that our SKOLA+ and SPORT+ projects will continue throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Together with our local partners, teachers, coaches, and communities, we will keep supporting children and young people through education, extracurricular activities, sport, teamwork, and shared experiences.
Through SKOLA+, children can continue learning, discovering new interests, and developing their skills. SPORT+ offers opportunities to stay active, experience teamwork, and enjoy moments of community and normality – something that is especially valuable in times of war.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who makes these activities possible under such challenging circumstances.
As the new academic year begins, we wish all children, students, teachers, and families in Ukraine strength, confidence, curiosity, and, above all, a safe and successful school year.
We look forward to continuing this journey together and to creating more opportunities for learning, movement, friendship, and positive experiences in the year ahead.
