As part of the SKOLA+ project, students in grades 6–7 are participating in “The Leader in Me” lessons — a globally recognized leadership development program based on the principles of effectiveness, responsibility, and self-realization.

Through interactive activities and practical exercises, participants develop essential life skills that support both their academic journey and personal growth. Students learn how to take responsibility for their actions, set goals, manage their time effectively, prioritize tasks, work in teams, and find shared solutions. The program also places strong emphasis on communication, empathy, and the ability to listen to and understand others.

Special attention is given to helping students find a healthy balance between achievement, emotional well-being, self-care, and relationships with those around them. By strengthening self-confidence and encouraging initiative, the lessons create a supportive environment in which young people can better understand their strengths and potential.

The positive impact of the program is already visible. Teachers and coordinators note that students are becoming more independent, confident, proactive, and engaged in teamwork and group discussions.
